I've never commissioned art before. Will I mess this up?
You won't. Over 90% of my clients are first timers, and the entire process is built around that. After you purchase, you'll take a 5 minute Character Blueprint Quest that walks you through exactly what I need. No art degree required.
Not sure how to describe something? That's literally what the revision process is for. I'll ask clarifying questions, and we keep refining until it feels right. The hardest part is clicking order.
Still nervous? See how other first timers felt when they finally saw their portrait.
What if I don't like it after you finish?
You're protected by the Heroic Money-Back Guarantee. After I create your first polished draft (in about 2 weeks), you have 3 days to decide.
If you don't think revisions can get it where you want, just let me know and you'll get refunded.
Once we start adjustments together, we're committed to making it perfect.
How do I describe my character if I don't have references?
No references? No problem.
Most of my clients start with just a character sheet or a description. I'll guide you through everything I need using my Character Blueprint (think of it as a friendly interview about your vision).
If you're stuck on something, I'll ask questions. One client said, "I only knew their personality, not their looks," and we still nailed it.
You can also pull inspiration from existing art or just describe the vibe. I'll translate your vision into something visual.
How does the commission process work?
Simple: Once you secure your slot, you'll get an instant confirmation email plus a personal message from me within 24 hours.
Depending on which commission type, I'll send you the Character Blueprint to fill out (or you can just tell me about them casually).
In about 2 weeks, you'll see your first polished draft (not a rough sketch). From there, we refine it together with unlimited revisions until you get that "that's exactly them" feeling.
You'll receive high-resolution files perfect for printing, VTTs, or framing.
How long does it take to complete a commission?
You'll see your first polished draft in about 2 weeks. From there, revisions are usually wrapped up within a few days to a week, depending on how many tweaks you want.
I keep you updated throughout and respond to messages within 24 hours. No ghosting, no chasing me for updates. You'll always know where we're at.
Can I request revisions to my portrait?
Unlimited revisions. Seriously. Most artists cap you at 2-3 rounds and then charge extra. I don't.
We keep refining until the portrait looks exactly how they've always looked in your mind. The eyes feel off? We fix it. The scar isn't quite right? We adjust it.
No extra charges, no impatient emails. Your vision, your standards. (99% of requested changes are made free of charge, only large adjustments such as pose changes are extra)

How do I know when slots are available?
If you can add the commission to your cart and checkout, that means I'm currently taking orders.
Slots fill up quickly and I only take a limited number each month (since I personally create every piece).
If it's sold out, join the email list and you'll be the first to know when I reopen.
I typically release new slots as I complete commissions, so check back weekly.
Can I have multiple characters in a single portrait?
Absolutely. For group portraits, each character takes about a week to create, and I craft them individually first to ensure each one is perfect.
For orders with 3+ characters, I'll create a custom background at no extra cost and bring the whole party together into a single cohesive scene. Every party member also gets their own individual portrait file.
Can I use the artwork commercially?
Yes, once the final portrait is completed, you have full rights to use the artwork in any commercial manner you see fit.
I understand the importance of having complete freedom over your commissioned piece, whether it's for personal branding, merchandising, or any other commercial use.
To ensure you're fully covered, I am more than willing to assist and sign any necessary documents that confirm your ownership and rights to the artwork.
Will my artwork be posted on your social media?
I reserve the right to share completed artwork on my social media platforms at my discretion.
However, if your piece is for an unreleased book, project, or anything that might be sensitive or spoil a release, please let me know in advance so I can avoid posting it.
If you prefer your artwork not to be shared on my socials for any reason, feel free to message me, and I’ll respect your request.
Hundreds of five-star reviews across every platform I'm on. Hundreds more emails I've saved since 2022. The reviews are for verifying. The messages are for everything else.
