D&D Party Portraits: How It Works

The only group portrait process where every character gets individual attention, every player gets their own portrait, and your party gets a group composition that commemorates your campaign forever.

Full party group portrait, every character painted together

Your D&D party has been through it all together.

The near TPKs. The unexpected plot twists. That one session where everyone couldn't stop laughing. The character deaths that genuinely hurt. The inside jokes no one outside your table would understand.

After months or years of shared adventures, your party deserves more than a memory.

Here's how I make sure every hero gets the attention they deserve while creating a group piece you'll treasure forever.

The process

Worth knowing up front. A party of 5 is 5 individual portrait commissions. Each character gets full attention, and everyone gets their own solo portrait plus the final group piece.

1. Every character gets individual attention

I work on each hero individually with the same detail and care as a solo commission.

What this means: no one's an afterthought. No rushed work. Every character perfected first.

2. Everyone gets their own portrait

Once each character is complete and approved, every party member receives their own high resolution portrait file.

What this means: use it for Discord, VTTs, profile pics, printing. It's yours to keep.

Below are some examples of individual portraits, plus the combined portrait and custom background.

3. Free group composition and custom background

After all individual portraits are approved, I combine everyone into one group portrait with a custom designed background, blending the lighting and shading to match the tone of the environment.

For parties of 3 or more, the custom background is free.

What this means: you get the individual portraits and a commemorative group piece. Best of both worlds.

Check out the example below. After 17 years of adventuring with these WoW characters, this client finally brought them all together in one portrait.

Each character shines individually, and the combined piece captures years of memories and stories in a single image.

FAQs

How does ordering work?

Each party member secures their own slot through the waitlist, or the DM can secure slots for the whole table. I text you personally when your slot opens. Once every character is complete and approved, I combine them into the group piece.

Can we choose the background?

Yes. I'll work with you on the setting. Tavern, final battle location, sweeping landscape, whatever fits your campaign.

How long does a group portrait take?

Group commissions move faster than you'd think. I prioritize party orders so each character is completed in under 2 weeks.

What if someone isn't happy with the group composition?

Unlimited revisions apply to the group portrait too. We don't stop until everyone's satisfied.

Immortalize your party

Each player takes the Character Quest once. I take it from there.
