What is this page?
It's your private commission hub, where you and I work on your portrait together. I'm Jan, and I built it. After more than a thousand commissions since 2022, I learned that email gets messy. Messages get missed, people use different addresses, and some folks never check their inbox. So now everything lives here. Your character's details, your painting, your change requests, our messages and your final files, all on one page you can open any time.
Who will I be working with?
Me, Jan. I read your blueprint and post every painting here myself. Your questions and change requests come straight to me, the person working on your character, and I answer you right on this page.
How does this hub help me?
You always know where your portrait is. The page shows the stage it's in, and I email you the moment something new is up. When you want a change, you mark it on the painting itself, so I see exactly what you mean. Your details are saved here too, so you never repeat yourself or dig through old emails.
How long does a portrait take?
About two weeks from the day I start painting. You'll see each stage here as it happens.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. When your first reveal is up, you draw right on the painting. Circle the part you mean, add a note, and send it. I paint a revised version and post it here for you.
What if the painting misses my character?
You know your character best. If the first painting misses them, tell me within 72 hours and I'll refund the base commission in full. That's the Heroic Money Back Guarantee.
What do I get at the end?
Your final files at full resolution, ready for your virtual tabletop, Discord, your character sheet or a print on your wall. They stay in your hub, so you can download them again later.
Do I need to finish the Quest first?
No, but it's the fastest way. The Quest turns your character into a blueprint I paint from. Upload it here and it stays saved on this device, ready for the day your turn opens.
How does the waitlist work?
I open a limited number of spots each month. Join once, and I text you when it's your turn. Then you have 24 hours to choose a size and order, right here on this page.
Which sizes can I order?
Half body, thigh up or full body. When your turn opens, you'll see an example of each size with its price right here.
Can my character join the Hall of Heroes?
Yes. You decide if their page is public. Shared characters get a card, and portraits I paint get a gold frame.
Is my hub private?
Yes. You open it with a private link sent to your email, and only you and my studio can see your order.
