One of Orin’s six guests took his sign. Find three clues, then point at who did it.
Orin’s sign went missing overnight. The iron bracket over his inn door hangs empty, its two chains swinging, and the plaster behind them is paler where the sign hung for eleven years.
Find three clues. Something caught on the iron or the step, a mark on the wall or the door post, and prints in the street. Then Orin calls his six guests out of breakfast and lines them up under the bracket.
Ask the whole line. Roll a d20 for Investigation. 10 or higher gives you four yes or no questions, and anything lower gives you three. Whoever says yes steps forward. One clue you can only check by looking hard at the six. Then point at the one who took it, with two tries.
Each day of the week has its own morning, with its own weather, six and culprit, and the sign always goes back up changed by whoever took it.
